It's the last day of the year, which brought to mind evil forests (don't ask me why), so I thought it was a perfect time for my poem about the most evil forest you can imagine. It's entitled 'Vul Ravin' (after the aforementioned place of evil). (If that name sounds familiar, it's probably because it's part of the web address for my blog.) I hope you enjoy the dark ride.... (Oh, and Happy New Year!!!)

Yes, I'm still alive!
Yes, it's been forever since I graced this page....
I'm going to start posting video readings of my poems, some classic stuff and some amazing things by poets you just have to hear! Check back soon for all the mind rending horror....
I spent last weekend in Portland, OR at the 2015 Cthulhucon. It was an amazing time one of the best of my life, no exaggeration!!! I met some great writers, viewed some great art, listened to some great author readings and panel discussions and attended a party at Jason and Sunni Brock's where I got writing advice from William F. Nolan! Oh, and I went berserk and bought a two foot stack of books and an awesome pen and ink drawing entitled 'The October Man'. The artist's first name was Paul, but I can't remember his last name. I'll have to track it down somehow, because it is an amazing image that reflects my strange view of the world! Oh, I'm also going to post reviews as I make my way through that imposing stack.
Until next time (soon!) that's the word from The Black Pool....
